Fly Tying Basics by Trevor Bradley

In early 2000 I volunteered my writing skills to Dwight Blackwood from the Newfoundland Sportsman. 

Dwight had been a long time friend of the family and I had mentioned to him over the years that I could write a few articles on fly tying for the magazine if he were interested. He said yes and off we were.

Only problem..... I've never written an article before.

I had been avid angler and fly tyer since college and although I wasn't a lover of English throughout my school years I still felt writing was something I could do. How difficult could it be? Below are the results.

My few articles turned into 10 over the course 2 years and were apparently well received.
